Project[52] – forty four
The Steam Locomotive No. 844 is the last steam locomotive built for Union Pacific Railroad in 1944. This was my second time photographing this train in Ogden Utah. The first time I photographed it as it was parked at the Ogden Union Station. I got some amazing shots you can see here. This time I [...]
Project[52] – forty one
After attending a photography meeting in Ogden Utah, I wanted to see how my newly acquired Fuji X100 handled long exposures/night photography. When I shoot long exposures I will use a tripod and a shutter cable release as to avoid any camera shake. I have a tripod but no shutter cable release for the X100. [...]
Project[52] – forty
There’s something about rain, lights and reflections that catches my eye. I had to pull over one morning on my way to work in the pouring rain to make this image. Take the time to enjoy your surroundings. If you want to read about what my Project[52] is you can visit my first post that [...]
Project[52] – thirty eight

Project[52] – thirty nine
I had the pleasure of working with theses four girls this fall for a school themed stock photo shoot. We went to a local park for a few hours and left with some great images. They all did a great job and I”m happy to see the images selling from my portfolio. If you want [...]

Project[52] – thirty six
One of my favorite photos of my niece Kassidy taken at her baptism. This was taken with my new favorite camera the Fujifilm X100. It left my DSLR at home this weekend and was happy that I did. If you want to read about what my Project[52] is you can visit my first post that [...]
Project[52] – thirty five
I walk by this car just about everyday in the parking lot at work. The tinker bell car seat covers catch my attention each time. On this day I took a minute to photograph the dueling tinker bells. As I was writing this post I noticed the matching steering wheel cover. It wouldn’t surprise me to see matching [...]
Warp Speed
My neighbors go all out on decorating their homes with Christmas lights so last night I setup the tripod in the back seat of my car to capture this image. A 30 second exposure at 25mph with a ton of lights makes for some interesting light trails. Note to self: “get that windshield replaced!”
