Salsa
Last week my wife and I spent some time making salsa. The tomatoes from our garden aren’t quite ready to be made into salsa so when I was able to get a couple cases of tomatoes from my work we took the time to try out a new recipe. I don’t expect this batch to last long.
Mpix.com Rocks!
I use MpixPro service for all my large prints for clients and personal use. Their Pro service is fast and with the $4.00 overnight shipping it makes it so easy to place orders, and the best part is orders over $100 ship overnight for free. The photo above is of my three daughters, the photos are 20″ x 20″ on a foam core board. No frame necessary, just pull them out of the box and place them on the wall. If your looking for a print lab check out Mpix.com
Android Photography 9.22.10
I’ve been playing around with film cameras lately. This is one that I’m borrowing from a good photog buddy. I have a roll of film that I will be shooting in this soon. I’m planning on doing a post soon to talk about the cameras and hopefully be able to show some pictures.
Macey – 2010 Portraits
It was time for my youngest daughters annual portraits. I took her to Garr Ranch on Antelope Island, it’s a quick fifteen minute drive from my house. Garr Ranch has great textures that can fit anyone’s style. Above its one of my favorite from the day, my wife chose the portrait below to hang on our wall. I included a few of my favorites, full gallery here. I will post the pictures of all three daughters later this week that are hanging on our living room wall.
Lensbaby Photography
I was able to borrow a fellow photog’s Lensbaby at a camping retreat recently. This was my first time using the Lensbaby and I have to say I really enjoyed shooting with it. I’m contemplating purchasing one for myself.
Red Canopy
I don’t know what kind of tree this is but it caught my attention as we were driving down a road in Kauai Hawaii, It covered the two lane road like a canopy.
