Hastings Family Portrait

Canon 40D * EF-24-105mm f/4.0L * ISO 200 * 1/100 seconds * f/6.3

I recently photographed the Hastings family.  We picked the perfect time to go to Mueller Park in East Bountiful Utah.  The fall colors were at their peak and it was a prefect day for photos.  Just a few days before we were there a man came face to face with a cougar, he didn’t get hurt but was pretty shaken up.  Below are a few of my favorites.

I grew up in Bountiful, so this is really cool to see. These are great. The family portrait is absolutely stunning.

One thing though, is that due to the strong coloring on the left, the image seems a bit off balance. I’d suggest cropping a tich of the right to see if that helps out, but it’d probably do more harm than good.

    Great captures!
