Star Valley Panorama

Canon 40D * EF-24-105mm f/4.0L * ISO 100 * 1/25 second * f/4

This last weekend my family and I took short break and headed to Star Valley Wyoming.  As I stepped out onto the deck of our cabin one evening I saw this image of the sunset and couldn’t resist snapping a few pictures.
This photo is three photos stitched together for the panoramic view. You can view the full sized pano here.

Hi Scott, what a beautiful picture. I was out in Park City in March and the sunset was just like this….I loved it out there…

Very nice scene to have captured, and well done on the panoramic stitching. The sky is amazing. I need to dedicate myself a bit more to be out in the right place at the right time for things like this. I usually see an amazing sky like this when I am driving home or where I don’t have a good vantage point to capture it.

    Scott,

I’ve been going to my grandpa’s ranch in Thayne all my life and I don’t think anyone in my family has taken such a great shot of the sunset up there. It is fun to follow what you’re up to on your blog.
