Utah Strobist 12.02.08 Recap
I attended the Utah Strobist group meetup this week at the Walker Center Garage in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. It was great to see all the varieties of lighting techniques used. I didn’t take many photos, I was a sponge soaking up all the different tools and techniques. It was great to see all the models there as well braving the cold. I’ve added a few tools to my camera bag (more tk later about those) that will hopefully make my life a bit easier for using off camera flash.
For the shot above I was using three Nikon speedlights(provided by Nathan Marx) one right and one left of camera, the third was behind the model seen above. All were triggered using a Cybersync wireless system.
Be sure to check out the group photos here. My flickr set is here.
Afternoon Walk
I was able to get out of the office yesterday to enjoy some nice weather and photograph some of the buildings. I recently found an Adobe Lightroom preset on PresetsHeaven.com called x=city+scape. I used it the photos below, enjoy!
