Afton Wyoming Photowalk

I spent some time a few weeks ago in Afton Wyoming on a mini-photowalk/drive.  Afton has a population of around 1,800 and it’s elevation is around 6200 feet.  It took me just a few minutes to walk up and down main street so I ventured out of the city.  While not the normal Photowalk that I’m used to this was fun to get out and see the area. Below are a few of my favorites, you can view my flickr set here.

Great set of images representing the small town. I for one grew up most of my life in smaller towns, so I enjoy seeing photos like this. Looks like it was a relaxing photowalk!

I grew up about an hour away from here. We would often drive through Afton when headed to Jackson Hole. It’s nice to see some shots from a spot that is not seen very often on flickr.

Gotta love those elk horn arches!

I spent 5 years of my life in Afton. It’s beautiful country and I’m glad to see someone’s interested in it.
