I recently purchased some photoshop actions ( will blog about them later) that have some great conversions to black and white.
I was loooking through my archive this weekend and ran it through an action and really like the shadow detail in the buildings. I spent quite a bit of time in San Franciso on business so my archive is full of buildings like these. Hopefully I will have time to process through them – enjoy!

We recently spent some time at my parents house in Idaho, this is the view from their back yard. The baby was very curious as to what I was holding. It took a while but I finally was able to get him to come to me. After switching to a smaller lense I started snapping away, he didn’t appreciate the noise of my camera and kept his distance the rest of the day.
